At St Bede’s we want the very best curriculum for our children. Above are the four Keystones of our curriculum that underwrite all learning in our School. We believe that by giving our children lots of opportunities to grow and develop Intellectually, Physically, Socially and Spiritually, we are giving them the best start to their education as well as all the prerequisites needed to go on and develop further reaching their full potential in the future.
In addition to these four areas, as a school, we also have to fulfil the requirement set out within the National Curriculum and follow the Hexham and Newcastle Diocese Come and See religious education program. Click on the links to see what your children will learning in their respective age group.
All the above learning is delivered by either discrete individual lessons or through a vibrant and worthwhile topic. In KS1 our children follow the Letters & Sounds phonics scheme
